Z PR has been an avid supporter of Ons Kinderhuis for many years.
We support Ons Kinderhuis by means of special events, graphic design, media releases, assistance with social media, photography etc.
In 2015, Engo: Our Child and Youth Care Centre Bloemfontein (Ons Kinderhuis) celebrated its 100th anniversary. Ds. Johan Daniël Kestell, former chaplain, reverend and later moderator of the Dutch Reformed Church in the Free State and second president of the National Women’s Memorial Commission from 1916-1936, was the founder of Ons Kinderhuis.
Mr. Frikkie van Dyk, Social Worker and Principal of Ons Kinderhuis say: “It is a special privilege to be part of the 100 year celebrations. Since the rental of our first house in Victoria avenue a 100 years ago, to where we are today with eight residential units that can accommodate up to 100 children, there are years of history and memories. Our Heavenly Father was there during this time and never forgot us. He always inspired people to visit our children in need and to help them to laugh and dream again”.
