South African Breweries (SAB) Central Region announced it’s 2014 Regional winners for the KickStart Competition on 26 November 2014 at a private function in Bloemfontein. The competition, which has grown to become one of the largest entrepreneurship development projects in the country, seeks to make the business dreams of young business minds through a mentorship programme and grant funding. The ten finalists, chosen out of more than a 1000 entries, hailed from: Wolmaransstad, Kroonstad, Bloemfontein, Kuruman, Ficksburg, and Mafikeng.
The top three winners, who will now go and represent the Central Region, are: Moeletsi Shadrack Litabe from Litabe Technologies in Kroonstad, Solomon Tohlang from Stokvel Business Connect in Bloemfontein and Carol Kgomo from Maqheleng Waste Management in Ficksburg. No grants have been allocated as yet. South African Breweries will visit the top three winners businesses and do an assessment on what their needs are.
