In April 2008, KTV, M-Net’s channel for children celebrated their birthday with Ons Kinderhuis in Bloemfontein. Z PR was the proud organisers of this great event.
The presenters from this kiddies TV channel were amongst others – Jonti Roos, Retti Ramaphakela and many more. The presenters flew down to Bloemfontein to celebrate the programme’ birthday with this youth care centre along with representatives from KTV, K9 and Simba the Lion.
Each of the children received a Cheetah Wave T-shirt, KTV Caps, KTV pencil holders with pencils, PriceWaterhouseCoopers chocolates and various Simba give-aways as birthday gifts.
After the performances by the children, KTV announced that they were sponsoring R10,000 to the home to assist them with their needs.
The headmaster thanked KTV and all he sponsors who made the day possible.
The children moved to their party area and sat at beautifully decorated tables to enjoy sweets, cold drinks, cupcakes and had lots of fun on the jumping castle and swings.
Simba the Lion and K9 also made an appearance at the event. A special surprise for all the children was when Giepie the Magician did a magic show for them. The day ended with the cutting of a very large (1m x 1m) birthday cake.
